What you can do in port in Bermuda
Most ships stay at the Royal Naval Dockyard, on the west end, and many stay overnight.

Horseshoe Bay is a beach. Hamilton and St. George's are towns. An overnight is enough time for the beach and both towns. On a short stop, use the excursion sold by the ship if you leave the Dockyard. If that tour is late, the ship waits.
Royal Naval Dockyard
Ships dock at King's Wharf.
The fort, the shops, and a small beach are on the property. You can walk to them from the ship. A taxi, a bus, or the ferry reaches the rest of the island.
Horseshoe Bay
This beach is away from the cruise docks.
The sand is a famous pale pink, colored by crushed coral and shells. A 30-minute taxi ride or a 45-minute bus ride from the Dockyard reaches the beach. On a calm day, the clear water offers excellent visibility right near the shore.
Hamilton
The ship stays at the Dockyard. A ferry from there reaches Hamilton, the capital.
A ferry from the Dockyard takes about 20 minutes. Front Street is the waterfront, and the shops are there. You can walk Front Street once you land.
St. George's
A bus from the Dockyard takes about an hour.
St. George's is an older town at the island's east end, with its own streets and a historic fort. Tobacco Bay is a sheltered beach there, surrounded by rock formations.
